Har Mishpacha invites you to help take us to New 'Chaights' by contributing to our
1st Annual Fundraising Campaign and attending our New ‘Chaights’ Fundraiser!

Our first annual fundraising campaign at Har Mishpacha, "Taking Har Mishpacha to New 'Chaights'", is dedicated to strengthening & expanding our vibrant Jewish congregation in Steamboat Springs. This campaign focuses on increasing members' levels of giving to help us sustain our continued growth & ensure the future of our Jewish Mountain Family.

Every member that increases their membership giving by at least one level (and all new members!) are entered to win the beautiful statue “Serendipity” by Dorothy Tanner, pictured below.
Winner announced at our Purim Party on March 14th!

* In Hebrew/Yiddish, the closest translation to serendipity would be: בשרת (bashert)

Bashert means predestined by Divine will: An event, set of circumstances, or situation can all be referred to as bashert, implying that whatever happens was ‘meant to be’; a destiny in the hands of Divine spirit who ultimately has our best interests in mind. Bashert can also refer to one’s soulmate.
